Job Summary
The Senior Business Development Manager at CIRRO Fulfillment will drive growth by developing and executing strategies to acquire mid-sized companies in the apparel, e-commerce, and consumer & retail industries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development within the logistics sector, a strong existing network in the target industries, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans (hunting) to achieve company growth objectives.
- Identify and prioritize target markets and customers within the apparel, e-commerce, and consumer retail sectors.
Client Acquisition:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with mid-sized companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with potential clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized logistics solutions that meet client needs.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate and close business deals to secure new contracts.
Networking and Industry Engagement:
- Leverage existing network to generate leads and build partnerships.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and expand professional network.
- Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor and report on sales performance and key business metrics.
- Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and progress.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics industry.
- Proven track record of success in acquiring and managing mid-sized company accounts in the apparel, e-commerce, or consumer retail sectors.
- Extensive existing network of contacts within the target industries.
Skills:
- Strong strategic planning and business development skills.
