Warehouse Supervisor


Job responsibilities

• Maintain receiving, warehousing, RMA and outbound operations for airfreight and LTL volumes by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Implement warehouse SOP.

• Carriers’ development.

• Co-develop and achieve warehouse KPIs, define opportunities, measure performance, analyze opportunities, improve and control performance, constantly aim to reach the ultimate goal to establish outstanding customer satisfaction, speed inbound to outbound cycle time and eliminate errors.

• Communicate closely with internal and external warehouse customers, report to management and to group internal stakeholders.

• Comply with federal, state and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actions.

• Continuously improve operational performance and efficiency while satisfying both company and customer needs.

• Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees in cooperation with HR.

• Maintain the physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts including automated sorting machinery, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

• Achieve financial objectives by preparing and annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions, report to management.

• Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counselling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job requirements

• 3+ years in related position.

• Bachelor’s degree in related or similar fields.

• Mandatory advanced English, preferably with Chinese.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.

• Highly detail-oriented and organized.

• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.

• 3 months trial period.

• Monday to Friday complete day. Saturday half day.
